The VIBE™ Platform

WITTENSTEIN aerospace & simulation's vibration platform uses compact industrial actuators integrated into a mechanical frame assembly to provide vertical, longitudinal and lateral vibration of a simulator cockpit.

The control of the vibration platform is implemented to provide the correct spectrum, amplitude and trend of vibration across the aircraft operating envelope.  The spectrum is considered in two parts; the discrete frequencies from the main rotor blade passing frequency and the base spectrum of random noise.
